Trilateral SWIMWAY Action Programme published

The Wadden Sea Board endorsed a SWIMWAY Action Programme, through which activities will be taken such as the identification of population bottlenecks and the translation of this knowledge into effective management and conservation measures.

Wadden Sea Flyway Initiative publishes key findings of latest assessment report

Grey seal population in the Wadden Sea steadily growing

In 2018-2019, 6,538 individuals were counted in the Danish-Dutch-German Wadden Sea and Helgoland.

Wadden Sea still weak link in international Flyway

A new analysis of the large scale bird count in 33 countries along the East Atlantic Flyway indicates that a large number of bird species using the Wadden Sea are not doing well.
